Site status and review schedule

Current checks

• Book and news facts: reviewed at least monthly and whenever an official publisher or author source changes.
• Breaking news: checked weekly; rumours remain labelled unconfirmed.
• Audiobook catalogues: reviewed monthly because narrators, languages and marketplace availability can change.
• Translations: queued for human review, with French audio availability and incomplete translated book copy first.
• Links, metadata and accessibility: automated smoke checks run before publication, followed by keyboard and browser checks.

Data and privacy

• No affiliate tracking is active yet. Audible links are ordinary convenience links.
• Affiliate-click reporting will only begin after an affiliate identifier is supplied and the disclosure is updated.
• Analytics and error monitoring are not active. Any future system should use aggregate, privacy-conscious data without cross-site profiling.
• Search and popular-page reports will begin when Search Console or a privacy-preserving analytics source is connected.
• Reading tools keep their data in the visitor’s own browser.

Change and recovery record

Each publication creates a versioned site archive and a source-control revision. A factual change should record the date, page, old claim, new claim, source and reviewer. If a release fails, the previous published archive remains the recovery point.
